The Converse Senior Center officially opened its doors on July 29, 2021. The facility was revitalized, in part, through the use of a Bexar County Community Block Grant and city contributions.
The 2,760 sq. ft. indoor facility also features a 1,200 sq. ft. patio with a pergola for outdoor activities. The center’s opening is the first of its kind for the City of Converse, providing much-needed amenities for seniors.
The Senior Center offers several activities to help seniors remain healthy, engaged, and independent. We offer exercise programs for all levels, arts and crafts, movies, karaoke, and a wide variety of information sessions and presentations.
We invite seniors, 55 and older, to participate in an array of activities and services specifically designed for older adults. Whether you are interested in joining us for group exercise, a technology class, or meeting new friends, we welcome you.
The Converse Senior Center is located at 405 S. Seguin, Converse, TX 78109. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 9:00 A.M.-4:00 P.M., excluding holidays.
