Training
In 2010, the Converse Fire Department instituted the Converse Citizens Fire Academy Alumni (CCFAA). The CCFAA meets one evening per week for eight weeks to learn fire safety and department procedures to assist the Fire Department. Upon completion, citizens are then able to join the alumni.

Responsibilities
Members of the CCFAA provide special assistance to the Fire Department and are responsible for hosting the annual Breakfast with Santa event.
