Salitrillo Partners Break Ground on “Converse Station”
|
The Converse Salitrillo Creek Partners, LLC broke ground on the New “Converse Station,” that will showcase a 12,000 Square foot mixed use Retail Development located adjacent to Fire Station No. 1. Ceremonial guests included the Salitrillo Creek Partners: Ms. Becky Johnson, Mr. Chris Johnson, Mr. Pliny Mier, and Mr. Charles Bronson. Other guests included State Rep. District 118 Joe Farias, Commissioner Tommy Adkisson, Mayor Al Suarez, Mayor Pro-Tem Billy Schindler, Councilman Chris Drake, Councilwoman Nancy Bazany, Councilwoman Dr. Mary Riley, Councilman Rene Rodriguez. |

The Melvin “Red” Schumann Memorial Pavilion was recently relocated to North Park from its original location adjacent to Fire Station No. 1. A rededication ceremony was conducted with special guests; Ms. Bernice Hoffman, State Rep. “Placid Park Subdivision Receives Extensive Road Repairs”

The Placid Park Subdivision recently received $90,000 from the Bexar County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) for Phase-I road repairs to Trance, Pensive and Dream Streets. The CDBG and additional funding was provided by extensive coordination efforts from the Converse Economic Development Corporation and City Council. |
