TRASH CANS

BULK TRASH AND BRUSH PICKUP

Trash cans, bags and other receptacles are not allowed to be visible from the public right-of-way except from sundown the day before trash pickup until sundown the day of trash pickup.

The City of Converse still offers brush and bulk pickup once a month, starting the third Monday of each month. Please call the Water Department (658-1965) before noon the Friday before to be placed on the list. You will just need to give your address. REMINDER: PER CITY ORDINANCE THE BRUSH AND BULK ITEMS MAY NOT BE PLACED AT THE CURB UNTIL NOON THE FRIDAY BEFORE PICKUP.

Street Maintenance Annual Program

Please call 659-9513 to report potholes. We will make every effort to respond as quickly as possible to service your request. We also repair broken or buckled sidewalks and asphalt due to water line repairs. Traffic control devices, pavement stripping, street sweeping, storm water management, illegal dumping removal, placement of barricades during heavy rain fall at all low water crossing are also among some of the Street Departments duties. The Street Department is also responsible for vehicle and equipment maintenance for all departments.
