Residential Bulk Items- The City contracts for a monthly bulk item pickup of oversized or heavy (65+ pounds) items such as used furniture, appliances, lumber and such materials for residential customers. Bulk items may not contain hazardous (HAZMAT) materials such as liquids of any kind, tires, paints, corrosives, fertilizers, batteries or any appliances containing refrigerants. To schedule pickup, call 658-1965 or use the on-line form no later than the Friday preceding the third Monday of the month. The items will be picked up sometime between 7:00 Am Monday and 5:00 PM Friday of the third week of the month. Please place your bulk items at curbside, and ensure the materials do not cover your water meter or lie directly under power lines.

Residential Brush Items-The City operates its own brush pickup service. The brush pickup starts the 3rd Monday of each month. This service is available by calling 658-1965 or use the on-line form by 12:00 Noon on the preceding Friday. Brush must be placed at curbside, and must not be mixed with bulk or non-brush items. Items are not to be put out any sooner than the Friday before the Monday start date. We would remind you to please not cover your water meter. The brush is collected and chipped on the spot. The resulting mulching material is deposited at the City North and South Parks and is free for pickup and use by Converse residents.
