Employee Benefits

The City of Converse offers a comprehensive benefits package to benefit-eligible employees, inclusive of healthcare insurance, vision, dental, and additional voluntary coverages at competitive rates. Retirement benefits through the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS) are offered with a 2-1 match for staff with vesting after five years of service. Additional benefits include vacation, sick, City of Converse paid basic life insurance, and long-term disability. Our goal is to be as transparent with our offerings as possible so that our staff can make the best decision for themselves and their family. 

All new hire and open enrollment elections must be submitted directly on Employee Navigator.
