How It Works
Operation ID is accomplished by labeling your personal items, such as video / audio equipment, computers, and televisions, with your personal identifying number using an engraver loaned by the Converse Police Department. This aids the police in recovering items if they are ever stolen from your home.
Keeping Numbers Safe
Remember to write items and serial numbers down and keep them in a safe place. The most basic method is still the most reliable - write the information on a sheet of paper and place it in a book on a shelf.
